DAS TEAM 2022
Jürgen Strasser, born and raised in the Berchtesgadener Land, worked for many years as a budget director in an advertising agency in Frankfurt after studying political science and sociology. In 2013 he turned his focus to photography and has since lived as an autonomous, visual artist in Wiesbaden and Worpswede. He is a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists (BBK) and an appointed member of the German Society of Photography (DGPh). In 2015 he founded the »RAW Phototriennale Worpswede«, where he is still the director today. He will be responsible for the Wiesbaden Photo Days for the first time in 2022. www.juergenstrasser.de
Marc Peschke, born in 1970, is an art historian, copywriter, cultural journalist and artist, and lives in Wertheim am Main, Wiesbaden and Hamburg. He studied art history, comparative literature and ethnology in Mainz. Since then, the Offenbach native has written about fine arts, photography, photo art and pop music. Occasionally, he also works as a freelance curator, was co-owner and co-founder of the photo art gallery KUNSTADAPTER in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main — as well as the culture bar WAKKER in Wiesbaden. In Wertheim am Main he is the curator of the exclusive ATELIER SCHWAB art space (gallery??). Since 2008 he has held numerous own exhibitions at home and abroad. Marc Peschke’s artistic works are mostly created on his numerous trips and are represented in various national and international collections. Since 2020 Marc Peschke has been active once again as a musician under the name MASCHERA. In 2022 he will curatorially support the Wiesbaden Photo Days. www.marcpeschke.de
Michaela Höllriegel has been part of the Wiesbaden Photo Days team since 2017. A 1‑year internship as a film and video laboratory assistant (Nuremberg), her work as a film editing assistant (Munich) and the study of architecture with a focus on urban planning (Mainz) were formative stations for a conscious artistic “closer look” as well as the interest in the visual arts — especially photography. In her field of work of urban development, the study of photography has become a permanent feature: She has been a member of the artist group ATELIER Römerberg e. V, focusing on photography since 2005 and has participated multiple times in Polish-German artist symposia. She has also taken part and organized exhibitions in the Rhine-Main area, including the Rhine-Main Architecture Summer 2013/15, as well as guided tours — most recently with the photo exhibition “Women on View”, Frauen museum Wiesbaden, 2020.
